| Abstract: | Diplomová práce si klade za cíl čtenáře seznámit s filozofií Lean managementu a jejími principy. Lean management je stylem řízení celého podniku a prostupuje do všech jeho koutů a úrovní, od vrcholového managementu až po operativní pracovníky. Je komplexní filozofií a metodami, které při správné aplikaci dopomáhají podniku dosáhnout vyšší pružnosti, efektivity, optimalizace procesů a kvality výrobků, a to vše za současné redukce nákladů. První část diplomové práce teoreticky vymezuje samotný pojem a jeho uplatnění, jmenuje a blíže popisuje jednotlivé prvky. Praktická část demonstruje užití filozofie Lean managementu na mezinárodním podniku, konkrétně na jedné z jeho výrobních závodů nacházejících se v Plzni, vyrábějící klimatizační jednotky. Hlavní principy jsou blíže popsány na vybraných případech s dílčími vyhodnoceními. Závěrem je zhodnocení aplikace Lean a vhodnost jejího využívání v praxi s případným doporučením. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis aims to acquaint the reader to Lean management philosophy and its principles. Lean management is the style of managing the entire business, and it penetrates all its corners and levels, from senior management to operative workers. It is a complex philosophy that, when properly applied, helps the enterprise achieve greater flexibility, efficiency, process optimization and product quality, all with cost savings at the same time. The first part of the diploma thesis theoretically defines the concept itself, its application and individual elements. The practical part demonstrates the use of the philosophy of Lean management within an international company, specifically at its production plant located in Pilsen, producing air conditioning units. The main principles are described in detail on selected areas with partial evaluations. Final step is the evaluation of Lean practices used in processes and their appropriateness with possible recommendations. |
