| Abstract: | Přijetí Pekingské deklarace a akční platformy roku 1995 na čtvrté konferenci OSN o ženách bylo významným krokem vpřed z hlediska prosazení rovného postavení žen ve společnosti. Tato práce v prvních třech kapitolách definuje diverzitu a diskriminaci ve společnosti, uvádí právní spojitost států a jimi přijatých dokumentů a vyjmenovává hlavní dosažené úspěchy v rovnosti žen a mužů v období 1945–1995. Ve čtvrté kapitole práce analyzuje Pekingskou deklaraci a akční platformu, kterou v další kapitole vztahuje na země V4. Cílem této práce je analyzovat význam Pekingské akční platformy a implementaci ekonomických, politických a institucionálních aspektů na země V4. |

| Abstract: | Adoption of Beijing declaration and platform for action during The Fourth world conference on women in 1995 was an important step forward in gender equality in society. This thesis, in its first three chapters, defines diversity and discrimination in society, states legal connection between countries and their adopted international documents and names main achievements in gender equality between 1945-1995. In the fourth chapter, this thesis analysis Beijing declaration and platform for action which then applies to Viségrad Four. The aims of this thesis are to analyse the significance of Beijing declaration and platform for action and its implementation of economic, political and institutional aspects in Viségrad Four. |
