| Abstract: | Čína je jednou z nejrychleji se rozvíjejících ekonomik světa, přestože růst ekonomiky v poslední dekádě zpomaluje. Čínská vláda usiluje dlouhodobě o transformaci ekonomiky pomocí strukturálních změn. V rámci současného 13. pětiletého plánu je kladen důraz zejména na inovace a podporu rozvoje služeb. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení významu sektoru e-commerce pro hospodářský růst Číny. Práce nejprve nastiňuje historický kontext a procesy reforem uvnitř Číny. Následně podrobněji mapuje hospodářský vývoj Číny v poslední dekádě s přihlédnutím k významu sektoru služeb. V praktické části je demonstrován význam sektoru e-commerce pro čínskou ekonomiku na příkladu společnosti Alibaba Group. |

| Abstract: | China is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, although economic grow is slowing over the past decade. The Chinese government is striving for a long-term transformation of the economy through structural changes. Under the current 13th five-year plan, emphasis is placed on innovations and support for service development. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluace the importace of the e-commerce sector for the economic growth of China. The thesis first outlines the historical context and processes of reforms within China. Then it follows the economic development of China in the last decade in more details, taking into account the importace of the service sector. The practical part demonstrates the importace of the e-commerce sector for the Chinese economy, based on the example of Alibaba Group. |
