| Abstract: | Diplomová práce Možnosti a limity nového osidlování zaniklých obcí severočeského pohraničí se zabývá fenoménem obnovování zaniklých obcí po roce 1945. Shrnuje historické okolnosti a příčiny zániku stovek sídel, od poválečného odsunu německého obyvatelstva po řízené demoliční akce na konci šedesátých let. Důraz je přitom kladen na širší socioekonomické souvislosti, jakými jsou proměny krajiny a migrace obyvatelstva. Předmětem výzkumu je území zaniklých obcí a jeho proměna v kontextu současných principů územního plánování. Na základě případových studií jsou definovány kategorie území obcí podle potenciálu pro nové využití v podmínkách současné legislativy a požadavků na využití krajiny. |

| Abstract: | The Master’s thesis Opportunities and Limits for New Settlement of Extinct Municipalities in the North Bohemian Borderlands is focused on the phenomenon of the restoration of the extinct municipalities after 1945. It summarizes the historical circumstances and causes of demise of hundreds of settlements such as the post-war expulsion of the German population and the controlled demolition operations in the late sixties. It emphasizes wider socio-economic context such as landscape changes and population migration. The subject of the research is the territory of extinct municipalities in the context of the current principles of land use. Based on case studies, the categories of municipalities are defined according to their potential for new utilization under conditions of current legislation and landscape requirements. |
