Poslední praktická část, pomocí nástrojů jako kontingenční analýza, vícerozměrné škálování, popisné statistiky a dat MML-TGI, získává hlubší poznatky o specifikách spotřebních projevů jednotlivých tříd v rámci různých druhů stratifikačních klasifikací. |

Abstract: | This master thesis evaluates the role of socio-economic stratification in uncovering segments and their profile development. The thesis is structured into three sections – theoretical, methodological, and a practical one. The theoretical section conceptualizes socio-economic stratification, consumer behaviour and the relationship between the two. Some discussion of market segmentation is also included. The methodological part explicates the various methods used in the practical section. Finally, the practical part employs contingent analysis, multidimensional scaling, descriptive statistics and MML-TGI data analysis to provide a deeper understanding of class-differentiated consumer behaviour patterns in various types of stratification classifications. By drawing on the findings of the aforementioned analysis, the last chapter summarises consumer patterns of various socio-economic classes with respect to specific product categories. Finally, the thesis concludes by reflecting on the usability of the employed variables in developing profiles of various socio-economic classes. |
