| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje regulatorním opatřením, která byla pro bankovní sektor vytvořena v reakci na finanční krizi z roku 2008. Rozebírá jejich současné i potenciální dopady s důrazem na český bankovní sektor. Pozornost je věnována především oblasti kapitálové přiměřenosti a snahám o zefektivnění procesu předcházení a řešení problémů komerčních bank. Práce obsahuje charakteristiku bankovního trhu České republiky a představuje nové požadavky na kapitálové polštáře, Zákon o ozdravných postupech a řešení krize na finančním trhu a MREL požadavek. Z důvodu komplexního pojetí tématu je bankovní regulace diskutována i z pohledu potenciálních rizik, která s sebou může přinášet. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of the thesis is to focus on regulatory measures formulated for banks as a result of financial crisis from 2008. Its actual as well as potential impacts are discussed with emphasis on banking sector of the Czech Republic. Mainly the areas of capital adequacy a recovery and resolution strategies are described. The thesis covers topics such as new required capital buffers, BRRD or MREL. In an attempt to capture the topic in a complex way, possible risks arising from the new regulatory concept are presented as well. |
