| Abstract: | Diplomová práce analyzuje makroekonomický vývoj zemí Visegrádské skupiny v expanzní a kontrakční fázi hospodářského cyklu v letech 2000 – 2015. Hlavním cílem práce je identifikace faktorů, které umožnily růst ekonomiky Polska během globální ekonomické krize. V teoretické části je představen metodologický rámec analýzy a jsou vysvětleny základní teorie a koncepty. V empirické části jsou ekonomiky analyzovány pomocí vybraných indikátorů vnitřní a vnější rovnováhy. Je také zkoumán vliv měnové a fiskální politiky v období globální krize. |

| Abstract: | The thesis analyses the macroeconomic development of the Visegrád group countries in the expansion and contraction phase of the business cycle between 2000 and 2015. The main goal of the thesis is to identify the factors which allowed the economy of Poland to grow during the global economic crisis. The theoretical framework of the analysis is introduced and basic theories and concepts are explained in the theoretical section. The economies are analysed in the empirical section using selected indicators of internal and external equilibrium. Also, the influence of monetary and fiscal policy during the global recession is examined. |
