| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním městské hromadné dopravy v Praze a Taichungu, druhém největším městě Taiwanu podle počtu obyvatel. Teoretická část obsahuje vysvětlení základních pojmů a definic. V praktické části jsou popsány systémy městské hromadné dopravy obou měst, které jsou následně porovnány. Závěrečné shrnutí obsahuje návrhy zlepšení MHD v obou městech založené na jejich vzájemném srovnání. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the comparison of public transport in Prague and Taichung, the second largest city of Taiwan by the number of inhabitants. The theoretical part contains an explanation of basic concepts and definitions. The practical part describes the urban transport systems of both cities, which are then compared. The final summary contains suggestions for improvement of public transport in both cities based on their mutual comparison. |
