| Abstract: | Diplomová práce prezentuje poznatky vyplývající z rešeršní analýzy teoretických přístupů k migraci a aplikuje je na prostředí Karlovarského kraje. V rámci práce je charakterizován vývoj vnitřní migrace v Karlovarském kraji v letech 2006 – 2015. Pomocí lineární regrese je zkoumán vztah mezi nezaměstnaností a migrací, a výší mzdy a migrací v kraji. Výchozí hypotéza založená na předpokladu, že míra emigrace, resp. imigrace je významně závislá na úrovni mezd a zaměstnanosti v daném územním celku, je přitom potvrzena pouze zčásti. Na základě dat z vlastního dotazníkového šetření jsou zkoumány hlavní příčiny relativně nižší atraktivity regionu pro osoby ve věku 20 - 29 let a je potvrzena dílčí hypotéza tvrdící, že hlavním faktorem pro migrační rozhodování mladých osob nejsou důvody typické pro amenitní migraci, ale nepříznivá situace na trhu práce v Karlovarském kraji. Závěry plynoucí z diplomové práce jsou významné z hlediska regionálního rozvoje kraje. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis presents the findings resulting from the literature review of the theoretical approaches to migration and applies them to the milieu of the Karlovarsky region. The diploma thesis describes the process of internal migration in the Karlovarsky region in the period 2006 - 2015. By means of the linear regression the relationship between unemployment and migration, wage levels and migration in the region is examined. The initial hypothesis based on the assumption that the emigration rate and immigration rate is significantly dependent on the level of wages and employment in Karlovarsky region, is only partially confirmed. Based on data from author´s own questionnaire survey the main reasons for the relatively low attractiveness of the region for 20- to 29-year-old people are examined. The partial hypothesis asserted that the main factor for migration of young people is not reasons of amenity migration but the unfavorable labour market situation in Karlovarsky region is confirmed. The conclusions of this diploma thesis are significant in terms of regional development of the region. |
