| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou efektivnosti sociálních transferů na příjmovou chudobu v České republice v letech 2005–2016. Chudoba je jedním z nejvíce diskutovaných témat již celou řadu let. Vyspělé státy se snaží s chudobou bojovat pomocí různých sociálních pobídek, nejčastěji prostřednictvím redistribuce sociálních dávek. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat efektivnost sociálních transferů na příjmovou chudobu v České republice a zjistit, v jaké míře je prostřednictvím sociálních dávek chudoba eliminována. Efektivnost sociálních transferů je zjišťována pomocí efektu redukce chudoby, která se vypočítá jako poměr míry chudoby před a po transferech. Výsledky jsou porovnány v čase a ve vybraných sociálních skupinách. Dále je zhodnoceno, zdali sociální transfery míří na nejvíce ohrožené skupiny osob a domácností. Závěry z kvantitativní analýzy by mohly být předmětem při úvahách o úpravě výše a distribuce jednotlivých typů dávek. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the effectiveness of social transfers in reducing income poverty in the Czech Republic in 2005-2016.The poverty has been one of the most discussed topics for many years. Industrialized countries are trying to fight with the poverty through the various social incentives, most often through redistribution of social benefits. The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the effectiveness of social transfers on income poverty in the Czech Republic and to find out what extent poverty is reduced. The effectiveness of social transfers is measured by the poverty reduction effect, which is calculated as the ratio of the rate of poverty before and after social transfers. The results are compared in time and in selected social groups. The thesis also evaluated whether the social transfers target the most vulnerable groups of people and households. Conslusions from quantitative analyses may be the subject of considerations on how to adjust the amount and distribution of individual types of benefits. |
