| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu nerovnováh v Evropské unii a v Evropské měnové unii. Úvodní kapitola poskytuje ekonomické a politické souvislosti měnové integrace. Detailní rozbor dodržování Maastrichtských kritérií a diskuse o jejich nastavení je obsažena ve druhé kapitole. V závěrečné kapitole jsou Maastrichtská konvergenční kritéria doplněna o další ukazatele rozšiřující pohled na nerovnováhy uvnitř měnové unie s podrobnějším rozborem stavu zúčtovacího systému TARGET II. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis is focused on analysis of imbalances in the European Union and in the European Monetary Union. Opening chapter provides economic and political context of the monetary integration. Detailed analysis of compliance with the Maastricht criteria and discussion about its settings is covered by the second chapter. In the closing chapter the Maastricht criteria are supplemented by additional indicators extending the view on the imbalances inside the monetary union, including more detailed analysis of TARGET II settlement system. |
