| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je analyzovat vybrané významné aspekty dopadu vědecko-výzkumné a vývojové činnosti na ekonomický růst, konkurenceschopnost a regionální rozvoj v České republice. Vlastní empirická část práce se zabývá datovou analýzou tří důležitých oblastí problematiky R&D. Schopností R&D sektoru překonat ekonomickou krizi v duchu kreativní destrukce, působením technologického pokroku na regionální konvergenci a efektivitou veřejných R&D dotací směřujících do soukromého sektoru. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to analyze important aspects of the research and development activities on economic growth, competitiveness and regional development in the Czech Republic. The empirical part of the thesis deals with the data analysis of the three important R&D areas. The ability of the R&D sector to overcome the economic crisis as the theory of creative destruction suggests, role of technological growth for regional convergence and the efficiency of public R&D financing. |
