| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá aktuálními přístupy Čínské lidové republiky k energetické bezpečnosti. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení současné energetické bezpečnosti ČLR a potenciálu jaderné energetiky pro posílení energetické bezpečnosti. Práce věnuje pozornost čínským aktérům energetické bezpečnosti, energetickému mixu, strategii zajištění energetické bezpečnosti a čínské zahraniční energetické politice. Autorka se také snaží odhalit motivy k rozvoji čínské jaderné energetiky a definovat postavení čínské jaderné energetiky v Asii. V neposlední řadě se zaměřuje i na význam energetické bezpečnosti pro mocenské postavení země. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with current approaches of the People's Republic of China to energy security. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the current energy security of the PRC and nuclear power’s role in enhancing China’s energy security. It focuses on Chinese energy security actors, energy mix, energy security strategy, and China's foreign energy policy. The author also aims to discover the motives for developing nuclear power in China and define the position of Chinese nuclear power in Asia. Last but not least, it focuses on the importance of energy security for China’s role in the global order. |
