| Abstract: | Veřejné finance v současné době zajímají mnoho ekonomů, ale i širokou veřejnost, jelikož jejich řízení má velké ekonomické a politické dopady na státy a ovlivňuje každodenní život jejich občanů. Španělské království je příklad země, která je známá pro současnou nepříznivou hospodářskou situaci a rozpočtovou nevyrovnanost. Tato práce zkoumá příčiny této nevyrovnanosti v širokém historickém, politickém a ekonomickém kontextu, snaží se odhalit chyby v řízení veřejných financí a navrhnout možná řešení problému a odhad do budoucna. Na základě jednopřípadové analýzy rozpočtového deficitu a veřejného dluhu ve Španělsku, tato práce odhaluje několik nedostatků ze strany Evropské unie a španělské vlády, které přispívaly k rozpočtové nevyrovnanosti. Po detailním zmapovaní současného stavu, včetně skladby rozpočtu a dluhu odhaduje vývoj situace do budoucna, který se může samozřejmě změnit, jestliže vyvstanou neočekávané události na ekonomické nebo politické scéně. Práce poskytuje ucelený přehled veřejných financí Španělska, který by mohl být aplikován i na další státy světa. |

| Abstract: | Public finance is a topic which is frequently investigated nowadays by economists but also discussed by the public because its management has a significant economic and political impact on the states and it also influences the everyday life of the citizens. The Kingdom of Spain is a typical example of a country that is notorious for its unprosperous economy and budgetary imbalance. This bachelor thesis investigates the causes of the imbalance in a broad historical, political and economic context and tries to propose possible solutions to this problem and estimates its future. Based on a single-case analysis of the budget deficit and public debt of Spain, this thesis reveals several shortcomings on the part of the European Union and Spanish government which contributed to the budgetary imbalance. After a detailed mapping of the current situation, including the structure of the budget and debt, it estimates the development for the future, which could be altered by unexpected events on the economic or political scene. This thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the public finance of Spain that could be applied to other countries of the world. |
