| Abstract: | Rusko je největším producentem surových diamantů na světě. Cílem práce je charakterizovat postavení Ruska na světovém trhu s diamanty. V první kapitole je představen základní přehled o diamantech a jejích vlastnostech, a také o mezinárodní klasifikaci diamantů. Jsou zde také specifikovány typy diamantových ložisek, typy těžby a zpracování diamantů a nejvýznamnější naleziště ve světě. Druhá kapitola poskytuje charakteristiku světového trhu s diamanty a historii jeho vývoje, definuje největší exportéry a importéry, zaměřuje se také na cenový vývoj a současné trendy na tomto trhu. Poslední kapitola je věnována pozici Ruska na trhu s diamanty, historii objevení prvních diamantových ložisek na jeho území a největším ruským diamantovým firmam, zejména společnosti ALROSA. Táto kapitola je také zaměřena na analýzu současných problémů a perspektiv budoucí účasti Ruska na trhu s diamanty. |

| Abstract: | Russia is the largest producer of rough diamonds in the world. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the position of Russia on the world diamond market. The first chapter presents a basic overview of diamonds and its properties as well as the international classification of diamonds. There are also specified types of diamond deposits, types of mining and processing of diamonds and the most important pipes in the world. The second chapter provides the characteristics of the world diamond market and the history of its development, defines the largest exporters and importers, focuses also on price development and current trends on this market. The last chapter is devoted to the position of Russia on the diamond market, the history of the first findings of its diamond deposits and the largest Russian diamond firms, especially ALROSA. This chapter is also focused on analyzing the current Russia's problems and its prospects for the future participation on the diamond market. |
