| Abstract: | V této bakalářské práci se zabývám bezpečnostními riziky nezabezpečených Wi-Fi sítí ve veřejném prostoru, v knihovnách, restauracích rychlého občerstvení nebo ve veřejné dopravě. Cílem práce je vyhodnotit chování uživatelů na nezabezpečených Wi-Fi sítích. V teoretické části definuji historii, základní pojmy, standardy Wi-Fi sítí a dvě vybrané formy útoku. První z nich je metoda „man in the middle“, kdy útočník odposlouchává pakety mezi uživatelem a routerem. Další metodou je Krack, zranitelnost Wi-Fi, která se objevila na podzim roku 2017.Tyto formy útoku podrobněji popisuji a vyhotovuji vhodný experiment k podpoření/vyvrácení počáteční hypotézy. V praktické části se věnuji podrobněji výzkumu založeném na sběru dat od informovaných účastníků experimentu. Experiment probíhal formou průzkumu. Uživatel se připojí k nezabezpečené síti a já sleduji kam přesně se připojují, dále sbírám informace o připojení, věku, vzdělání a pohlaví. Práce je vyhodnocována v souladu s pravidly ÚOOÚ. Výstupem práce je analýza chování uživatelů na nezabezpečené síti a popis nových bezpečnostních rizik. |

| Abstract: | In this bachelor I deal with the security risks of unsecured Wi-Fi networks in public space, libraries, fast food restaurants or public transport. The main aim of the work is to evaluate user behavior on unsecured Wi-Fi networks. In the theoretical part I define history, basic concepts, Wi-Fi network standards and two selected forms of attack. The first is the "man in the middle" method, where the attacker is listening packets between the user and the router. Another method is Krack, the vulnerability of Wi-Fi, which appeared in the autumn of 2017. I describe these forms of attack in detail and make a suitable experiment to support/refuse the initial hypothesis. In the practical part I deal more with research based on data collection from informed participants of the experiment. The experiment was conducted through a survey. The user connects to the unsecured network, and I'm tracking exactly where they log on, collecting logons, age, education and gender. The work is evaluated in accordance with the rules of ÚOOÚ. The output of this work is analysis of user behavior on unsecured network and description of new security risks. |
