| Abstract: | Když se ve spojitosti s nepokoji v muslimském světě znovuotevřela evropská teroristická fronta, nevyhnula se tentokrát útokům ani do té doby nezasažená a bezpečná Francie. Od roku 2015, kdy zde došlo k prvnímu útoku muslimských radikálů, si teroristické útoky vyžádaly na francouzském území více než 200 civilních obětí. Cílem této práce bylo odpovědět na otázky, proč se Francie, která do roku 2015 stála mimo přímý zájem teroristických skupin, stala jedním z hlavních terčů útoků muslimských radikálů, jaké cíle si radikálové ve Francii pro své útoky vybírají a jakou zprávu se jimi snaží světu předat. Analýzou změny přístupu Francie k situaci v muslimském světě bylo jako spouštěč těchto útoků určeno zvýšené zapojení Francie do válek v této oblasti a porovnáním společných charakteristik jednotlivých útoků byl vytvořen profil hlavních cílů teroristickým útoků – rušná místa, která mají pro Francii symbolický význam. |

| Abstract: | As the European terrorist front reopened in connection with the unrest in the Muslim world, a wave of attacks did not avoid France, even though before 2015 it was considered to be a safe country. Since 2015, when the first attacks carried out by radical Islamists have occurred, the terrorist attacks have claimed over 200 civilian casualties in France alone. The aim of this paper was to answer the following questions: why France, which before 2015 stood outside of the direct interest of terrorist groups, has become one of the main targets of the attacks by the Muslim radicals, what locations the radicals in France have chosen for their attacks, and what message they are trying to pass on to the world. By analyzing change in French policy on the situation in the Muslim world, it was found that the growing involvement of France in the area triggered the attacks, and by comparing common characteristics of each attack a profile of their main targets was created – busy places with a special meaning to France. |
