Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat kulturní specifika Indie a jejich dopad na obchodní jednání. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá významem kultury a představuje výzkum šesti kulturních dimenzí nizozemského sociologa Geerta Hofstedeho. V druhé kapitole dochází k podrobné charakteristice Indie, především její společnosti, náboženství a kastovního systému. Model Hofstedeho dimenzí je zde aplikován na indické kulturní standardy. Třetí kapitola je zaměřená na předpoklady a průběh úspěšného obchodního jednání s indickými partnery a zahrnuje národní zvyklosti, pravidla a vlastnosti Indů v oblasti prvního setkání a vyjednávání. Závěrečná kapitola se věnuje rozhovoru s českým zástupcem, který Indii pracovně navštívil. |

Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize cultural specifics of India and their impact on a business negotiation. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the importance of culture and presents six cultural dimensions defined by Dutch sociologist Geert Hofstede. The second chapter focuses on detailed description of India, especially its society, religion and caste system. The Hofstede dimension model is also applied on Indian cultural standards. The third chapter analyses requirements and process of a successful business negotiation with Indian partners and includes the national customs, rules and characteristics of the Indians regarding the first meeting and bargaining. The final chapter is dedicated to an interview with a Czech representative who visited India. |
