| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce „Stav připravenosti ČR na přijetí jednotné evropské měny“ se zabývá přistoupením České republiky do eurozóny. První kapitola obeznamuje čtenáře se vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie a o závazku přijmout euro. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na maastrichtská konvergenční kritéria a jejich plnění Českou republikou. Ve třetí kapitole je vyhodnocení cyklické a strukturální sladěnosti ČR s eurozónou a přizpůsobovací mechanismy, které vypovídají o schopnosti čelit případným asymetrickým šokům bez samostatné měnové politiky. Poslední kapitola objasňuje možné přínosy a rizika zavedení eura a shrnuje názory několika podnikatelů na téma přijetí eura v ČR. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor’s thesis "Readiness of the Czech Republic for the adoption of the single European currency" addresses the topic of the accession of the Czech Republic to the euro area. The first chapter informs the reader about the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union and the commitment to adopt the euro. The second chapter focuses on the Maastricht convergence criteria and their execution by the Czech Republic. The third chapter evaluates the cyclical and structural alignment of the Czech Republic with the euro area and the adjustment mechanisms that reflect the ability to cope with potential asymmetric shocks without an autonomous monetary policy. The last chapter explains the possible benefits and risks of introducing the euro and summarizes the views of several entrepreneurs on the adoption of euro in the Czech Republic. |
