| Abstract: | Diplomová práce mapuje konstrukci a vývoj diskurzu palmového oleje z hlediska zájmových skupin. Práce vychází z premisy, že kauza palmového oleje v českých médiích je vykonstruovaná novináři. Struktura práce je deduktivní, odvíjí se od obecnějších poznatků ke konkrétnějším, jak je postupně téma zužováno a konkretizováno. V závěru práce jsou výsledky výzkumu aplikovány na teoretické předpoklady uvedené v první části, čímž vzniká rámec ohraničující celé téma, přičemž poukazuje na vzájemnou propojenost mezinárodního prostředí a komerční komunikace. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis tracks the construction process and development of palm oil discourse from the perspective of interest groups. The initial premise is that the palm oil case reported in Czech media is constructed by journalists. The logic of the thesis is deductive as the topic is being narrowed and unwinds from more general findings to more specific ones. In the conclusion, the research findings are applied to the theoretical knowledge elaborated in the first part of thesis. Thus, comprehensive frame of the thesis is developed while it manifests how international environment and commercial communication are intertwined. |
