| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá aplikací multikulturní politiky na prostředí nadnárodní korporace s cílem zjistit, zda je možné aplikovat Kymlickův model liberálního multikulturalismu i na jiné než státní prostředí. První kapitola definuje pojmy, které jsou pro práci stěžejní, přibližuje historický vývoj různých směrů multikulturalismu a jeho představitele a blíže se zaměřuje na myšlenky liberálního multikulturalisty Willa Kymlicky. Druhá kapitola analyzuje aktivity a kroky společnosti L´Oréal v oblasti multikulturní politiky. Poslední kapitola je věnovaná kvalitativnímu výzkumu, který byl uskutečněn prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů se zaměstnanci společnosti L´Oréal, jejichž pomocí se autorka práce snaží potvrdit či vyvrátit stanovené hypotézy. Diplomová práce využívá metod analýzy, pozorování, deskripce, rozhovoru a komparace. Práce čerpá z tištěných a elektronických zdrojů, vychází také z interních dokumentů a materiálů sledované společnosti. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis focuses on the application of multicultural politics to the environment of the transnational corporation. The aim is to find out if Kymlicka´s model of liberal multiculturalism can be applicable to non-state environment. The first chapter defines the concepts that are crucial to the thesis, draws the historical developments of the different types of multiculturalism and its representatives. The chapter focuses more closely on the ideas of liberal multiculturalist Will Kymlicka. The second part analyses L´Oréal´s activities and actions in the field of multicultural policy. The last chapter is devoted to qualitative research, which was carried out through in-depth interviews wit L´Oréal employees, whose the work tries to confirm of disprove the established hypotheses. Methods of analysis, observing, description, interview and comparison are used. The work draws on printed and electronic resources, it also comes from internal documents and materials of L´Oréal. |
