| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá využitím informačních technologií ve vězeňství. V první části je proveden souhrn technologií a trendů, které jsou v této oblasti diskutovány na evropských a světových odborných konferencích. Dále je zhodnocena možnost aplikace několika vybraných trendů do místního prostředí Vězeňské služby ČR. Poslední část se věnuje návrhu řešení datového skladu, který v současné době není v prostředí VS ČR provozován. Výsledkem je rozbor předchozího nedokončeného řešení a návrh architektury nového řešení pro případný pilotní projekt. Přínosem této práce je zhodnocení využívání technologií v prostředí VS ČR a konkrétní návrh na zlepšení v oblasti Business Intelligence. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is to discuss the use of information technologies in the prison system. The first part summarizes the technologies and trends that are discussed at European and world conferences in this field. Second part evaluates the application of several selected trends to the local Prison Service of the Czech Republic. The last part deals with the design of data warehouse solution, which is not currently used in the environment of Czech Prison Service. The result is achieved by analysis of the previous unfinished solution and the design of a new solution architecture for a possible pilot project. The benefit of this thesis is the evaluation of the use of technologies in the environment of the Czech Republic and a concrete proposal for improvement in Business Intelligence. |
