| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá nástroji Business Intelligence ve strojírenské firmě ZVVZ, a. s. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl nejen zanalyzovat současný stav využívání nástrojů BI, ale na základě analýz a rozborů odhalit i možné problémy, provést jejich zvýraznění a pokusit se navrhnout takové změny a opatření, které by vedly k zintenzivnění využívání implementovaných BI nástrojů v dané společnosti. Nejprve jsou definovány a teoreticky vymezeny základní pojmy, postupy a nástroje informačních systémů a Business Intelligence. Druhá část práce se zabývá analýzami a rozbory využívání nástrojů BI napříč jednotlivými společnostmi a úrovněmi řízení z různých pohledů. Závěry těchto analýz a jejich rozborů přinesly mnoho klíčových problémů jak pro jednotlivé společnosti, tak pro celý holding. Pro řešení těchto problémů jsou stanovena vhodná doporučení a opatření, která jsou rozdělena do tří úrovní na okamžitá, střednědobá a dlouhodobá. |

| Abstract: | This work deals with tools of Business Intelligence in a machinery company ZVVZ, a. s. The diploma thesis aims not only to analyse the current state of usage of BI tools, but also, based on the analyses, to uncover potential problems, highlight them, attempt to suggest such changes and measures which would lead to a more efficient usage of the implemented BI tools in the company. First there are defined and theoretically explained basic terms, processes, and tools of information systems and Business Intelligence. The second part of the work deals with analyses of usage of BI tools by individual companies and levels of management from various perspectives. The conclusions of the analyses have identified a lot of key problems not only in the individual companies, but also in the whole holding. In order to solve these problems, there are prescribed suitable recommendations and measures which are split into three levels: immediate, medium-term, and long-term. |
