| Abstract: | Tato práce pojednává o plánované dohodě o ekonomickém partnerství mezi Japonskem a Evropskou unií, která by měla značně snížit tarifní i netarifní bariéry obchodu mezi oběma stranami. Cílem práce je identifikovat příležitosti a hrozby uzavření této dohody pro evropské firmy a investory. V první části je stručně nastíněn vývoj integračních tendencí za posledních několik desetiletí a představena zahraničně obchodní strategie Evropské unie. Druhá část je věnována představení dohody a procesu jejího uzavření se zaměřením na zhodnocení konkrétních přínosů a negativních dopadů dohody na evropské producenty. Ve třetí části jsou analyzovány obchodní vztahy mezi Japonskem a Českou republikou a rozebrány možné vlivy dohody na české firmy a investory. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the planned EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement, which is supposed to significantly reduce tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade between both parties. The purpose of the thesis is to identify major opportunities and possible threats of this agreement for European companies and investors. In the first part, the integration tendencies of the past few decades, as well as the latest European trade policies are introduced. The second part is dedicated to the contents of the agreement and the proces of it’s negotiation with the focus on evaluating concrete opportunities of the agreement for European producers. In the third part, the Czech-Japanese trade is analyzed and the probable impact of the agreement on Czech companies and investors is introduced. |
