| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat světový trh se stříbrem, dále faktory, které ovlivňují jeho cenu a zanalyzovat vývoj ceny stříbra v období 2007-2016 a v průběhu roku 2016. Dále představit možnosti investování do stříbra, a nakonec shrnout argumenty pro a proti investování do této komodity. Cílem práce není jednoznačné doporučení pro investování, respektive pro neinvestování. Úvodní kapitola je věnována popisu vlastností stříbra, dále jeho historii těžby a historii placení stříbrem. Doplněna je oblastmi využití stříbra. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the world silver market, as well as the factors influencing its price and to analyze the development of the silver price during the period 2007-2016 and during the year 2016. Further, its objective is to introduce the possibilities of investing in silver and finally to summarize the pros and cons of investing in this commodity. The aim of the thesis is not a clear recommendation for investment or non-investment. The introductory chapter is dedicated to describing the properties of silver, its mining history and history of silver payment. It is supplemented by areas where silver is being used. |
