| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je porovnat úspěšnost vyhledávání v českém jazyce u dvou vyhledávačů, Googlu a Seznamu. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí, z nichž první část se zaměřuje na historii internetu a internetového vyhledávání a druhá popisuje různé existující druhy vyhledávačů a uvádí jejich nejznámější zástupce. Část třetí informuje o fungování vyhledávačů, o nástrojích, které je možno použít pro zvýšení šance nalezení odpovídajících výsledků a faktorech, které vyhledávání nějakým způsobem ovlivňují.Poslední část, čtvrtá, obsahuje údaje o Googlu a Seznamu včetně jimi nabízených možností rozšířeného vyhledávání, optimalizace pro chytré telefony nebo novinek z oblasti vyhledávání, které byly v nedávné době zavedeny nebo se jejich zavedení teprve chystá. Následuje porovnání kvality výsledků na konkrétní dotazy ve čtyřech oblastech vyhledávání, mezi něž se řadí vyhledávání textové, obrazové, hlasové a audiovizuální. Rozdíly v efektivnosti těchto dvou vyhledávačů jsou nakonec shrnuty v doporučení pro uživatele. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to compare the success rate of Internet search in the Czech language of two search engines, Google and Seznam. The work is divided into four main parts, the first of which is focused on the history of the Internet and Internet search and the second one describes the various existing types of search engines and gives the best known examples of each of them. Part three informs about the workings of search engines, the tools, that can be used for increasing the chance of getting results of good quality, and the factors, that affect Internet search in some way.The fourth and also last part contains facts about Google and Seznam including the advanced search options, smart phone optimisation or innovations in the area of Internet search that have been introduced recently or those that are soon going to be put into practice. What follows is the comparison of the quality of the results for particular queries in four different areas of Internet search, which are text search, image search, voice search and video search. Finally, the differences in effectivity of the two search engines are summarised as a part of the recommendation for the users. |
