| Abstract: | Diplomová práce hodnotí přímé ekonomické přínosy cestovního ruchu ve městě Světlá nad Sázavou. Praktická část se věnuje hlubší analýze ekonomického dopadu cestovního ruchu na danou destinaci. Výzkum má za cíl zodpovědět následující hypotézy: Má zvyšující se návštěvnost města pozitivní dopad na vývoj zaměstnanosti? Existuje přímá úměra mezi návštěvností města a počtem podnikatelských subjektů, provozujících činnost v charakteristických odvětvích cestovního ruchu? Potvrzení daných hypotéz bylo splněno pomocí dotazníkového šetření prováděného v destinaci a osobními rozhovory s pracovníky zodpovědných organizací, od nichž byla také poskytnuta potřebná data. Na základě zjištěných údajů je možné konstatovat, že cestovní ruch ve městě Světlá nad Sázavou není polarizujícím odvětvím, ale tvoří pouze doplňkovou část ekonomiky destinace. I přes tuto skutečnost je však důležitým a zajímavým odvětvím, jenž generuje přes 2 % pracovních míst ve městě. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis aims to assess the economic contribution of tourism in the town of Světlá nad Sázavou. The practical part of this thesis is focused on analysing the economic impact of tourism in the given destination. The research aims to answer the following hypotheses: Does the increasing attendance of the city have a positive impact on employment? Is there a direct proportion between city attendance and the number of business entities operating in the tourism sector? Confirmation of the given hypotheses was accomplished through a questionnaire survey conducted in the destination and personal interviews with responsible employees of the relevant organizations, from which the necessary data was also provided. On the basis of the data survey, it can be stated that tourism in Světlá nad Sázavou is not a polarizing sector, but it is only an additional part of the economy of the destination. Despite this, however, it is an important and interesting sector that generates over 2 % of jobs in the city. |
