| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá neutralitu Mezinárodního výboru Červeného kříže během aktuálně probíhajícího konfliktu v Sýrii. Cílem je v první řadě zjistit, zda Mezinárodní výbor Červeného kříže v tomto konkrétním případě zaujímá neutrální postoj. V druhé řadě pak práce rozebírá, jakým způsobem tato organizace neutralitu dodržuje či porušuje. Práce se dělí na dvě hlavní kapitoly, přičemž první z nich představuje Mezinárodní výbor Červeného kříže a dále uvádí některá pojetí neutrality i s jejími kritérii. Ta jsou pak použita pro testování jednotlivých aktivit Mezinárodního výboru Červeného kříže v druhé kapitole, která pokrývá období v Sýrii mezi lety 2011 a 2016. Závěrem práce dochází ke zjištění, že Mezinárodní výbor Červeného kříže nedodržuje během konfliktu v Sýrii všechna kritéria neutrality a tudíž není zcela neutrální. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the neutrality of the International Committee of the Red Cross during the ongoing conflict in Syria. The aim is first and foremost to find out whether the International Committee of the Red Cross has a neutral attitude in this particular case. Secondly, the thesis analyzes how the organization respects or violates neutrality. The thesis is divided into two main chapters, the first of which is the International Committee of the Red Cross, and some of the concepts of neutrality and its criteria. These are then used to test the individual activities of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the second chapter covering the period in Syria between 2011 and 2016. The conclusion of the work is that the International Committee of the Red Cross does not observe all the criteria of neutrality during the conflict in Syria and therefore cannot be perceived as neutral. |
