| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hlavními událostmi izraelsko-palestinského konfliktu v moderních dějinách a jejich vlivem na vývoj mírového procesu. Cílem této práce je analyzovat roli Blízkovýchodního Kvartetu v izraelsko-palestinském konfliktu. Blízkovýchodní Kvartet vznikl jako reakce na vývoj Druhé intifády. Součástí bakalářské práce je rozbor jednotlivých členů uskupení - EU, OSN, USA a Ruské federace. Poslední část podrobně zkoumá jednotlivé projekty a hodnotí jejich účinnost. Účelem této bakalářské práce je zanalyzovat význam Blízkovýchodního Kvartetu v izraelsko- palestinském konfliktu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on the main events of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in modern history and their influence on the development of the peace process. The aim of this work is to analyze the role of the Middle East Quartet in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Middle East Quartet was founded in response to the development of the Second Intifada. The bachelor thesis includes an analysis of individual members of the groupings - EU, UN, USA and the Russian Federation. The last part of the thesis provides detailed overview on the individual projects of Middle East Quartet and evaluates their effectiveness. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the importance of the Middle East Quartet in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. |
