| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice korupce se zvláštním zaměřením na veřejný sektor. Je zde definován samotný pojem korupce, jsou popsána její stádia, faktory napomáhající jejímu vzniku a rozšiřování, způsoby měření, dopady a oblasti výskytu a možné způsoby prevence. Pomocí korelační a regresní analýzy jsou dále zkoumány vztahy vývoje míry korupce a vybraných hospodářských ukazatelů v České republice za poslední dvě desetiletí, a jejich důsledky. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the issue of corruption with a special focus on the public sector. The thesis defines the concept of corruption and describes its stages, factors contributing to its emergence and spread, methods of measuring corruption, possible impact, areas of occurrence, and prevention. Correlation and regression analysis are further used to research the relationship between the level of corruption and selected economic indicators in the Czech Republic in the last two decades, and to assess its consequences. |
