| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá ochranou spotřebitele v potravinovém právu Evropské unie. Cílem práce je poskytnout ucelený pohled na institut ochrany spotřebitele, a to především s důrazem na jeho praktický dopad. Pozornost je věnována vymezení souvisejících primárních a sekundárních pramenů, institucionálnímu zajištění a analýze rizika s důrazem na systém rychlého varování pro potraviny a krmiva (RASFF). Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu fungování systému RASFF a rozbor významných rozsudků Soudního dvora Evropské unie v oblasti potravinového práva. |

| Abstract: | This Diploma thesis focuses on the consumer protection under the EU food law. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the consumer protection with emphasis on its practical applications. The author defines the primary and the secondary legal sources, institutional arrangements and assesses risks focusing on the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF). The practical part of this thesis analyses the operation of the RASFF system and the crucial judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union with respect to food safety law. |
