| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá jazykovými aspekty tvorby politického projevu. První kapitola představuje teoretický rámec, v němž je zkoumaná problematika ukotvena, zaměřuje se zejména na zdroje soft power, dimenze veřejné diplomacie a její hlavní složky. Druhá kapitola se zabývá politickou komunikací obecně a definuje její aktéry. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na charakteristiku veřejného politického projevu jako specifického nástroje politické komunikace. Detailně popisuje, jaký je proces tvorby projevu včetně jeho přípravy, určení účelu projevu a obsahuje rovněž podrobnou studii jazykových prostředků používaných při tvorbě projevu. Poslední kapitola zahrnuje případovou studii v podobě analýzy tří projevů českých prezidentů Václava Havla, Václava Klause a Miloše Zemana na půdě Evropského parlamentu. Nejprve je stanoven referenční rámec a následně jsou definovány hlavní lingvistické nástroje použité v textu projevů. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the aspects of linguistic devices used in political practice. The first chapter represents a theoretical framework and focuses, especially, on the resources of soft power, the dimensions of public diplomacy and its core approaches. The second chapter refers to a theoretical framework of political communication and defines its actors. The third chapter deals with public speech as a specific device of political communication. It elaborately describes what is the process of making a public speech including its preparation, deciding about the purpose of the speech and contains detailed study of specific linguistic devices used during speech writing. The last chapter analyses three public speeches presented by Czech president Václav Havel, Václav Klaus and Miloš Zeman in the European Parliament. It establishes a frame of reference and defines the main linguistic devices used in these speeches. |
