| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je prozkoumat potenciál slavkovské spolupráce (S3) v porovnání s potenciálem Visegrádské skupiny (V4), neboť tato dvě uskupení autor považuje za nejperspektivnější z existujících ve střední Evropě. Ke splnění tohoto cíle je vytvořen analytický nástroj, který kvantifikuje potenciál kooperačního uskupení a tím umožňuje srovnání jednotlivých uskupení z hlediska jejich potenciálu. Práce pro své účely využívá teorii mezinárodní spolupráce, kterou obohacuje o mocenskou analýzu a operacionalizaci některých faktorů spolupráce. Autor dospívá k závěru, že S3 má podobný potenciál jako V4, přičemž jsou nastíněny možné důvody, kvůli kterým je i přesto V4 v současnosti mnohem aktivnější a dynamičtější projekt než S3. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of the master's thesis is to explore the potentiality of the Austerlitz/Slavkov trilateral (S3) comparing it to that one of the Visegrád Group (V4), as the author sees these two groupings as the most perspective ones among the existing cooperation formats in Central Europe. In order to achieve this goal, the author creates an analytical tool that makes it possible to quantify the potentiality of a cooperation grouping, and thus to compare such groupings from the perspective of their potentiality. The thesis draws on the International Cooperation Theory while enriching it with a power analysis and operationalisation of some factors of cooperation. The author concludes that the S3 is approximately as perspective as the V4, while outlining possible reasons why the V4 is currently a much more active and dynamic project than the S3 despite this finding. |
