| Abstract: | Tato práce je zaměřena na adaptování knižní předlohy. Představuje čtenáři teoretické přístupy k psaní adaptace a definuje praktické postupy adaptace. Informuje také čtenáře o přípravách potřebných pro psaní scénáře televizního seriálu. V praktické části práce jsou tyto postupy a přístupy použity pro přípravu materiálu k adaptaci knižního zdroje a následně při psaní samotného scénáře pro pilotní díl televizního seriálu. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is focused on adapting a book into a screenplay. It introduces the reader to the theoretical approaches for writing an adaptation and defines the practical procedures of adaptation. It also informs the reader of the preparations required for writing a television series script. In the practical part of this thesis these procedures and approaches are demonstrated through writing a preparation material for adapting a book and then through writing a screenplay of a pilot of a television series. |
