| Abstract: | V této bakalářské práce se řeší problém porovnání vybraných NoSQL databázových systémů. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní charakteristiky pojmu NoSQL databáze, její historie vývoje a její vlastnosti. Dále jsou v práci podrobněji rozebrány vybrané databázové systémy MongoDB, Couchbase a ArangoDB. Podstatou praktické části je testování databázových systémů za účelem jejich porovnání z hlediska výkonu. Testování se provádí pomoci Yahoo! Cloud Serving Benchmark, jemuž je věnována jedna z kapitol praktické části. Nedílnou součástí praktické části jsou měřitelné výstupy z testů, podle kterých je možné srovnávat výkonnost databázových systémů. Po testování databázových systémů MongoDB má lepší výsledky než ArangoDB a Couchbase. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of selected NoSQL database systems. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of the NoSQL database, its history of development and its properties. Next part of the thesis presents the selected database systems MongoDB, Couchbase and ArangoDB are analyzed more in details. The main purpose of the practical part is to test selected database systems in order to compare them in terms of its performance. Testing is done via Yahoo! Cloud Serving Benchmark, which is described in one of the chapters of the practical part. The result of the practical part is the measurable outputs of the tests, which allows to evaluate and compare the performance of the database systems. After evaluating the outcome of the test, the MongoDB database system was proved to be more powerful and effective than database systems ArangoDB and Couchbase. |
