| Abstract: | Mezera daně z přidané hodnoty je rozdíl mezi tím, co mělo být na základě účinné legislativy odvedeno a daňovým výnosem z DPH. Odhadem této mezery je možné kvantifikovat ztracené příjmy a také identifikovat oblasti nejčastějších daňových úniků. Cílem této práce je zjistit, zda existuje závislost mezery daně z přidané hodnoty na složení teoretického základu daně, který je využíván ke zjištění celkové částky, která měla být odvedena do veřejných rozpočtů. |

| Abstract: | The VAT gap is defined as the difference between the amount of tax that should have been collected according to law and the amount of actually collected tax. The estimation of this gap can be used for quantifying the loss of tax revenue and for identifying which areas are weak against the tax evasions. The aim of this paper is to find out if there exists a dependence between the VAT gap and the composition of the theoretical tax base which is used for calculating the amount of the tax that should have been collected. |
