| Abstract: | Tato práce analyzuje návrh a implementaci databázové transformační aplikace, její použití, a důvody jejího vzniknutí. Popisuje stávající stav a možnosti vytvoření a uložení databází v databázových systémech od společnosti Microsoft, také se zabývá starými typy relačních databází jako je Paradox a některými typy binárních souborů a nutností a postupem převedení těchto databází a souborů na databáze relační, reprezentované databází Microsoft SQLServeru nebo do souboru, který je následně možné otevírat aplikací Microsoft Office Access nebo Office Excel od stejné společnosti. Také rozebírá RAD studio XE6 od společnosti Embarcadero a jeho již implementované možnosti práce s databázemi využité v rámci této aplikace. |

| Abstract: | This work analyzes the design and implementation of the database transformation application, its usage and the reasons for its development. It describes the current state and capabilities of creating and storing databases in Microsoft systems, also deals with old types of relational databases, such as Paradox and some types of binary files and the necessity and process of converting these databases and files into relational databases represented by the Microsoft SQL Server database, or into a file which is then possible to open by Microsoft Office Access, or Office Excel by the same company. It also discusses Embarcadero RAD Studio XE6 and its already implemented database capabilities used in this application. |
