| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá oprávněním root v operačním systému Android. Cílem práce je analyzovat techniky, jakými se lze k těmto oprávněním dostat, jaké přínosy a rizika tato práva přináší a jaký je jejich vliv na bezpečnost. V první části práce je popsána architektura operačního systému Android a relevantní prvky zařízení s operačním systémem Android. Následně je detailně analyzováno fungovaní oprávnění root jak v teoretické, tak praktické rovině. Je rozebrán postoj jednotlivých výrobců k těmto oprávněním a pohled společnosti na tato oprávnění. Poté jaký byl jejich vývoj a jaký je vliv těchto oprávnění na aktuálně podporované verze operačního systému Android. V posledních částech práce jsou rozebrány možnosti a analyzována negativa, která root oprávnění mohou přinášet. Výsledkem práce je komplexní analýza oprávnění root a jeho možností a vlivů nejen v oblasti bezpečnosti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis analyzes the root privilege on the Android operating system. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze techniques that can be used to obtain these privileges, analyze which benefits and risks these rights introduce and what their impact on safety is. The first part describes the architecture of Android operating system and relevant elements of the device to the Android operating system. Subsequently it is analyzed how root privileges work in theoretical and practical terms. Then there is described position of individual manufacturers to these problematics and what is the position of actual society to these rights, then how did they develop during past years and what is their impact on currently supported versions of Android operating system. Last parts of the thesis analyze the possibilities and the negatives of root rights. The main contribution of this thesis is complex analysis of root privileges and their possibilities and effects not only in security area. |
