| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá pozitivními a negativními dopady spojenými s využíváním umělé inteligence. Dílčími cíli práce jsou vymezení umělé inteligence, představení různých vývojových směrů, kterými se v průběhu historie umělá inteligence ubírala, a především zhodnocení přínosů a rizik spojených s využíváním umělé inteligence. K dosažení těchto cílů bylo napřed nezbytné vymezit inteligenci lidskou, protože právě tu se snaží umělá inteligence napodobit. Analýzou oblastí, ve kterých je umělá inteligence využívána, byly odhaleny konkrétní pozitivní a negativní dopady umělé inteligence. Přínosy umělé inteligence spočívají především v rozsáhlé funkcionalitě, kterou poskytují. Inteligentní systémy mají potenciál lidem výrazně usnadnit práci, zvýšit životní komfort a podílet se i na záchraně lidských životů. Rizika představují především možné negativní dopady umělé inteligence na lidskou populaci. Jsou spojena především s možným poklesem inteligence lidské populace a ztrátou sociálního chování. Velkou bezpečnostní hrozbu představuje případné zneužití inteligentních systémů. |

| Abstract: | The thesis examines the positive and negative impacts connected with artificial intelligence. The sub-objectives of this thesis are to define artificial intelligence, introduce several courses, which artificial intelligence had followed throughout history, and above all, to assess the benefits and risks related to artificial intelligence. In order to achieve these objectives, it was first of all necessary to define the human intelligence, hence that is the one, which artificial intelligence is supposed to emulate.By analysing the areas, where the artificial intelligence is used, particular positive and negative impacts of artificial intelligence were discovered. The benefits of artificial intelligence mainly lie in extensive functionality it can provide. The intelligent systems have potential to provide assistance at work and thus make it significantly easier, to increase comfort, and even help to rescue human lives. The risks were mainly found in potential negative impacts of artificial intelligence on human population. They are predominantly related to a possible diminish of human intelligence and to loss of social behavior. A great security threat is posed by potential misuse of intelligent systems. |
