| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření vhodného prediktivního modelu, který by bylo možné použít na předpovídání počtu vstřelených branek dvěma soupeřícími týmy v průběhu fotbalového zápasu s ohledem na kurzové sázení. K analýze jsou použita data ze zápasů nejvyšší anglické fotbalové soutěže Premier League. Jedná se o zápasy osmi po sobě jdoucích sezón, tedy celkem 3.040 zápasů. V práci je sestaveno pět modelů. Každý z nich je založen na jiném klasifikačním algoritmu. Modely jsou mezi sebou porovnány nejen na základě přesnosti klasifikace, ale i pomocí velikosti generovaného zisku z kurzových sázek. Nejlepší z testovaných modelů je postaven na algoritmu vícevrstvé neuronové sítě a nabízí stabilní zisk s návratností investice rovnou 17 %. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis focuses on construction of predictive model, that could be used for predicting of amount of shooted goals during soccer matches and generating financial profit from odds betting. Data from English Premier League are used for analysis. Data consists of games of eight consecutive seasons, a total of 3,040 matches. There are five models constructed in the work. Each of them is based on another classification algorithm. The models are compared not only on the basis of the accuracy of the classification, but also on the size of the generated profit from the odds betting. The best of the tested models is made with multilayer neural network algorithm and offers a steady financial profit with an return of investment equal to 17 %. |
