| Abstract: | Diplomová práce zkoumá vztah mezi logistikou a IT, kde autorka popisuje metody zlepšování použitelnosti testovaného webu. Hlavním cílem této práce je prozkoumat a vylepšit stávající webové stránky společnosti PPL CZ, která patří mezi přední poskytovatele služeb pro firmy
a podnikatele v České republice. Jako výzkumnou metodu autorka využila UX experiment. Výzkumný soubor byl složen z 10 osob, které naplňovaly zadané podmínky, a to využití internetu na denní bázi alespoň dvě hodiny, střední vzdělání s maturitou nebo vysokoškolské vzdělání, polovina lidí se zkušenostmi s posláním balíku přes internet a zbytek bez zkušeností s danou činností, a jako poslední – všichni souhlasí s účastí na experimentu. Dalším předpokladem je, že respondenti jsou ve věku od 20 do 50 let. Pro zkoumání použivatelnosti webu autorka začíná svůj výzkum zadáním úkolů pro účastníky, ve kterých mají postupovat podle daných kroků. Během plnění úkolů jsou respondenti sledováni heat mapem a mapou fixace. Díky této technice je autorka schopna pozorovat pohyby očí respondentů, a na základě toho zhodnotit důležité faktory ovlivňující použitelnost webové stránky. Dále po splnění zadaných úkolů jsou respondenti požádáni o vyplnění dotazníku. Z výstupu dotazníkového šetření je autorka schopna shromáždit potřebné informace a názory zúčastněných respondentů na počáteční návrh webové stránky a na základě toho identifikovat negativní aspekty ovlivňující návštěvnost a použitelnost této webové stránky. Zlepšení webové stránky bylo provedeno na základě výsledků výzkumu a znovu otestováno stejným výzkumným souborem. Na základě hodnocení respondentů lze hodnotit, že nová verze webové stránky přinesla účastníkům výzkumu pozitivní zkušenost s posláním balíku. Tato práce může být přínosem pro společnost PPL CZ, ale i jiné společnosti zabývajícími se přepravou balíků a ostatními logistickými službami. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis examines the relationship between logistics and IT, where the author describes the methods of improving the usability of the test site. The main aim of this work is to explore and improve the existing PPL CZ web site, which is one of the leading providers of business and business services in the Czech Republic. As a research method, the author used the UX experiment. The research team was made up of 10 people who met the terms and conditions, including Internet use on a daily basis of at least 2 hours, secondary education with a school-leaving certificate or university education, half of the people with experience of sending the package over the internet and the rest without experience of the activity the last all agree to participate in the experiment. Another assumption is that respondents are between the ages of 20 and 50. To investigate the usability of the site, the author begins with his / her research by assigning tasks to the participants, where they are to proceed according to the steps. During the completion of the tasks, the respondents are monitored by heat-map and fixation map. Thanks to this technique, the author is able to observe the movements of the respondents' eyes and to evaluate the important factors influencing the usability of the website. After completing the assigned tasks, respondents are asked to complete the questionnaire. From the output of the questionnaire, the author is able to collect the necessary information and opinions of the respondents involved in the initial design of the website and to identify the negative aspects affecting the traffic and usability of this website. Improvements to the website were made on the basis of research results and retested by the same research team. On the basis of the respondents' assessment, it can be estimated that the new version of the website has brought the participants a positive experience with the mission package. This work can be of benefit to PPL CZ, but also to other companies engaged in the transport of packages and services. |
