| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá kulturním turismem ve městě Mělníku, konkrétně hodnotí potenciál města pro rozvoj kulturního turismu a popisuje organizaci turismu a spolupráci zainteresovaných subjektů. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda lze na základě charakteristik stanovených v teoretické části považovat město Mělník za lokální turistickou destinaci, a následně navrhnout opatření vedoucí ke zkvalitnění řízení destinace nebo k vybudování nové destinace v případě, že se o destinaci nejedná. Významnou částí práce jsou strukturované rozhovory s vybranými stakeholdery, kteří se podílejí na tvorbě nabídky kulturního turismu. Rozhovory spolu s analýzou strategických dokumentů klíčových subjektů odhalují největší slabiny systému řízení turismu a jsou základem pro stanovení základních doporučení definovaných v závěrečné kapitole práce. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on cultural tourism in the city of Mělník, in particular it evaluates the potential for cultural tourism development and describes organization of tourism and cooperation of stakeholders. The aim of the thesis is to find out, whether it is possible to consider the city of Mělník as a local tourist destination on the basis of the characteristics set out in the theoretical part and then propose measures to improve the quality of the destination management or to build up a new destination if the destination is not intended. An important part of the thesis is made up with structured interviews with selected stakeholders involved in the creation of cultural tourism offer. The interviews, alongside with the analysis of key stakeholders strategic documents, reveal the major weaknesses of the tourism management system and are the core for defining the basic recommendations defined in the final chapter of the work. |
