| Abstract: | Práce zkoumá vliv zvolených ukazatelů na majetkovou a násilnou trestnou činnost v České republice, Slovenské republice a Spojeném království (Anglii a Walesu). V teoretické části je popsán Beckerův model. Dále je vyhodnocen vývoj kriminality ve sledovaných zemích a jsou shrnuty předešlé studie. V praktické části jsou použity časové řady za období 2002-2016 v ročních intervalech. Z výsledků analýzy v praktické části plyne, že exogenní proměnná, úroveň vzdělání, má statisticky významný vliv na majetkovou trestnou činnosti v rámci ČR. Další exogenní proměnná, spotřeba alkoholu, má statisticky významný vliv na míru násilné trestné činnosti v rámci SR. Těmito výsledky jsou potvrzeny stanovené hypotézy, že alkohol a vzdělání mají pozitivní, respektive negativní vliv na násilnou, respektive majetkovou trestnou činnost. Poslední hypotézu, že míra nezaměstnanosti má pozitivní vliv na míru majetkové trestné činnosti, se na základě regresních analýz potvrdit nepodařilo. |

| Abstract: | The thesis examines the influence of selected indicators on property and violent crime in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the United Kingdom (England and Wales). The theoretical part describes the Becker model, examines the development of crime in the selected countries and summarizes previous studies. The thesis works with the time series for 2002-2016 at annual intervals. The results of the analysis in the practical part show that the exogenous variable, the level of education, has a statistically significant impact on property crime in the Czech Republic. Another exogenous variable, alcohol consumption, is shown to have a statistically significant impact on the rate of violent crime in Slovakia. These results confirm the established hypothesis that alcohol and education have a positive and negative impact respectively, on violent and property crime. The last established hypothesis, that the unemployment rate have a positive impact on property crime, was not proven. |
