| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je zanalyzovat vývoj financování sportu v České republice zejména v kontextu událostí, které financování sportu ovlivnily v letech 2010-2017 a na základě toho testovat hypotézu, že je sport v ČR dlouhodobě podfinancován. V teoretické části se práce zabývá zejména historickým vývojem sportu a jeho financováním, organizační a institucionální strukturou českého sportovního hnutí a hospodářským, společenským či zdravotním významem sportu. Praktická část analyzuje, jaký dopad na financování sportu v ČR měly především úpadek společnosti SAZKA, a.s., změny loterijního zákona či časté změny v programovém financování sportu ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy a srovnává český systém financování sportu se systémy vybraných evropských zemí. Z výsledků vyplývá, že ačkoli prošlo sportovní prostředí ve sledovaném období krizí, v současné době již není hlavním problémem nedostatek finančních prostředků, jako spíše nedokonalý systém alokace veřejných zdrojů na podporu sportu. Poslední kapitola si proto klade za cíl navrhnout možná východiska, která by mohla systém financování sportu v ČR zefektivnit a učinit ho transparentnějším. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of sport financing in the Czech Republic especially in the context of events that influenced the financing of sport in 2010-2017 and on this basis to test the hypothesis that the sport in the Czech Republic is underfinanced in the long-term. In the theoretical part the thesis deals mainly with the historical development of sport and its financing, the organizational and institutional structure of the Czech sport movement and the economic, social or health significance of sport. The practical part analyzes the impact of selected events on the financing of sport, especially the bankruptcy of SAZKA, a. s., changes to the lottery law or frequent changes in the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports’ programs of sport funding and compares the Czech system of sport financing with the systems of selected European countries. The results show that although the Czech sport movement underwent crisis in reviewed period, the main issue is no longer the lack of financial resources as a rather imperfect system of allocating public resources to support sport. The aim of the last chapter is therefore to propose possible ways that could make the system of sport financing in the Czech Republic more efficient and transparent. |
