| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem oceňování vybrané společnosti. Pro účel této práce jsem si vybrala ČSOB pojišťovnu a.s. Nejdříve jsou vymezeny základní informace o společnosti, dále pak vysvětleny základní teoretické postupy a metody, jak pro oceňování podniků obecně, tak odlišnosti, které je potřeba dodržet při oceňování finančních institucí a konkrétně pojišťovny. V další části jsou tyto postupy aplikovány na konkrétní společnost a stanovena její výsledná hodnota |

| Abstract: | The master thesis is dealing about a valuation of a company. I have chosen ČSOB insurance company a.s. for that purpose. At first, the basic information about the company are defined. The explanation of the principles and methods of business valuation in general is next. I noticed the difference between valuation of common businesses and the valuation of financial institutions, specifically insurance companies. This principles and methods are applied in the next part of my thesis. And the final value is determined |
