| Abstract: | Ústředním tématem je analýza letecké nákladní dopravy a positioningu nákladní divize leteckého dopravce. V teoretické části jsou nejprve uvedeny pojmy, základní informace a současná situace oblasti letecké dopravy. Následně je popsána letecká nákladní doprava, přepravované komodity, typy přepravy a současné finanční výsledky odvětví a nejdůležitějších dopravců. Cílem praktické části je analyzovat vybrané výkonové ukazatele nákladní divize British Airways se srovnáním výkonů dalších dopravců uvnitř skupiny IAG, vystihnout význam letecké flotily a destinací, na kterých British Airways operuje a definovat najít přidanou hodnotu British Airways v rámci skupiny IAG. |

| Abstract: | The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of air freight and the positioning of the airline´s cargo division. Firstly, in theoretical part, are first mentioned the concepts, basic information and current situation of air transport. Subsequently, air freight transport, transported commodities, types of transport and the current financial results of the industry and the most important carriers are described. The aim of the practical part is to analyze selected performance indicators of the British Airways cargo division, comparing the performance of other carriers within the IAG group, to illustrate the importance of the fleet and the destinations on which British Airways operates and define the added value of British Airways within the IAG Group. |
