| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se věnuje tématu výkonové motivace vietnamských studentů VŠE a faktorům, které ji ovlivňují. Vzhledem k tomu, že mnozí z druhé generace Vietnamců stále studují a někteří začínají pracovat, je důležité vědět, jak s jejich výkonovou motivací pracovat. Cílem práce je analýza výkonové motivace vietnamských studentů a její porovnání s českými studenty VŠE na základě modifikované verze Škály výkonové motivace autorů Helmreicha a Spencové. Dalším cílem je zjistit faktory, které nejvíce působí na výkonovou motivaci vietnamských studentů. Tohoto cíle bylo dosaženo hloubkovými rozhovory s 8 studenty navazujícího magisterského studia. Vedlejším cílem je rozšířit teoretické poznatky ohledně vietnamské komunity v ČR, přičemž pozornost je soustředěna na druhou generaci Vietnamců. Praktická část je tvořena výzkumem kvantitativním i kvalitativním. V diskuzi je zjišťováno v čem se shoduje teoretická část s praktickou částí. Dále jsou zde uvedeny limity provedené studie. V závěru jsou shrnuty výsledky práce. Z kvantitativního výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že neexistuje statistický rozdíl mezi výkonovou motivací vietnamských a českých studentů VŠE. Kvalitativní výzkum nám naznačil, že důležitým faktorem, který ovlivňuje výkonovou motivaci Vietnamských studentů, je výchova a kultura. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the achievement motivation of Vietnamese students at VŠE and the factors that influence it. Since many of the second generation Vietnamese are still studying and some are entering the work force, it is important to know, how to work with their achievement motivation. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the achievement motivation of Vietnamese students and to compare it with that of Czech students at VŠE based on modified version of the scale of achievement motivation by Helmreich and Spencová. Another aim is to identify the factors that affect the achievement motivation of Vietnamese students the most. This aim was achieved through deep interviews with 8 master's degree student. The secondary aim is to broaden the theoretical knowledge about Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, focusing on the second generation Vietnamese. The practical part consists of quantitative and qualitative research. The discussion reveals where the theoretical and practical part align. Furthermore, it lists the limits of the conducted study. The results are summarized in conclusion. Quantitative research has found that there is no statistical difference between the achievement motivation of Vietnamese and Czech students at the University of Economics in Prague. Qualitative research has suggested that upbringing and culture are important factors that affect the achievement motivation of Vietnamese students. |
