| Abstract: | Mezinárodní standard účetního výkaznictví pro pojistné smlouvy, IFRS 17 Pojistné smlouvy, jež byl vydán v květnu 2017 s účinnosti od počátku roku 2021, zavádí jednotné principy pro oceňování a vykazování pojistných smluv. Předmětem diplomové práce je seznámit čtenáře s hlavními principy oceňování pojistných smluv dle požadavků tohoto standardu. Diplomová práce zahrnuje ilustrativní příklad oceňování pojistných smluv a analýzu dopadu tohoto standardu jak na výši závazku a výsledku hospodaření plynoucí z pojistných smluv, tak na úroveň detailu jejich vykazování ve srovnání se stávajícím standardem IFRS 4. |

| Abstract: | International Financial Reporting Standard for Insurance Contracts, IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts issued in May 2017 with effective date from the beginning of 2021 establishes the principles for the measurement and presentation of insurance contracts. The subject of the diploma thesis is to acquaint the reader with the main principles of measurement and presentation of insurance contracts according to the requirements of this standard. The diploma thesis includes an illustrative example of measurement of insurance contracts and an impact analysis of this standard on the amount and on the level of reporting of the liability and the profit arising from insurance contracts compared to the existing IFRS 4. |
