| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá souhrnnou analýzou kryptoměn se zaměřením na jejich uplatnění v běžné podnikatelské činnosti v České republice. Vysvětluje fungování kryptoměn a dále popisuje problematiku škálování, kterou je nezbytné vyřešit pro jejich případné masové rozšíření v populaci. Komplexně popisuje fungování Bitcoinu, ale přidává i základní charakteristiky dalších kryptoměn. Analyzuje globální regulaci kryptoměn a následně se hlouběji zaměřuje na právní a daňové prostředí v českém státě. Předkládá návrhy, jak kryptoměny účtovat, přijímat, nebo vyplácet zaměstnancům. Zaměřuje se na specifika zdanění fyzických i právnických osob. Navrhuje doporučení pro dědictví, darování a odkaz digitálního majetku třetím osobám. V rámci primárního výzkumu analyzuje podnikatelské prostředí dle regionů, oborů činnosti a preferovaných kryptoměn českých podnikatelů. Analyzuje infrastrukturu pro lokální směnu na českém území a na závěr předkládá analýzu veřejného mínění českých respondentů. |

| Abstract: | The thesis aims to provide summary analysis of cryptocurrencies while focusing on their use in common business activities in the Czech Republic. It explains functioning of cryptocurrencies and describes the scaling issue that needs to be solved for its potential mass adoption in the population. The thesis focuses on how the Bitcoin works, while the basic characteristics of other major cryptocurrencies are also included. It provides analysis of global regulation of cryptocurrencies as well as detailed analysis of legal and taxation environment in the Czech Republic. The thesis also offers proposals on how to account for cryptocurrencies transactions, how to accept payments or pay wages in a cryptocurrency. It then focuses on the specifics of taxation of natural and legal persons. It proposes recommendations for the inheritance and donation of digital assets. For the purpose of the thesis a primary research has been made to analyze business environment by regions, core business and preferred cryptocurrencies. It provides analysis of the infrastructure available for local transactions and concludes with analysis of public opinion survey conducted among Czech respondents. |
