| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá činnostmi controllingového oddělení ve společnosti Dimension Data Czech Republic s.r.o. Cílem práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit současný stav controllingu ve výše jmenované společnosti, identifikovat problémové oblasti a navrhnout možné způsoby jejich řešení. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část obsahuje rešerši odborné literatury na téma controlling, věnuje se především jeho definici, cílům a nástrojům. Praktická část obsahuje popis systému controllingu ve výše jmenované společnosti, analýzu jeho jednotlivých nástrojů, jejich hodnocení a návrhy na vylepšení současného stavu. Pro vypracování praktické části byla provedena analýza interních dat a dokumentů, která byla doplněna neformálními polostrukturovanými rozhovory s vedoucími pracovníky. Navrhované změny a nové metody by měly přispět k dalšímu zlepšení zavedeného systému controllingu a tím i ke zlepšení řízení společnosti. |

| Abstract: | The Master Thesis deals with activities of the Dimension Data Czech Repub-lic s.r.o. Controlling Department. The aim is to analyze and evaluate current state of the controlling system, to identify problematic areas and to propose recommendations for improvements of the current state.The Thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part contains literature review of the controlling definition, objectives and tools. The practical part contains description of the controlling system in the examined company, analysis of its individual tools, their evaluation and proposals for improvement of the current state. The research method used in the practical part is analysis of internal data and internal documents, which was supplemented by informal semi structured interviews with executives. The proposed changes and new methods should contribute to the further improvement of the established controlling system and thus better management of the company. |
